Before Your Appointment

Everything you need to know so you feel
comfortable and prepared for your appointment.
Pre-appointment

Preparation

We understand coming to a new place for the first time can be daunting especially if you aren't sure what to expect. So we've done our best to try and make sure everything goes as smoothly as possibly and you have all the answers to your questions upfront before you arrive. When you book your appointment you'll receive a confirmation of your appointment via text message and also email. The email will include a button so you can add the appointment to your diary. If this is the first time you've booked an appointment with us at The Growth Place, shortly after your first email,  you'll receive a second email which contains a link to your online client portal and login details.

Your client portal is a secure place where you will be able to access all the details of your appointment, as well as any further information you might need relating to the services that you have booked with us. Sometimes following an appointment, your practitioner may upload resources onto your client portal for you to access if they feel these would benefit you and enhance the treatments you receive from us.

Arriving for

Your appointment

When you arrive at The Growth Place you'll see a grey door with the number 123. Please come inside and directly in front of you is a white door and a sign that says 'The Growth Place'. Ring the bell and a member of the team will come and let you in as soon as they can.

If you are early for your appointment, please understand that we may be treating clients and unable to come to the door, so we would always kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment to ensure that you aren't waiting around.

Once you come in for your appointment a friendly face will greet you and you'll be asked to take your shoes off and we will take your coat. As you enter our therapy room you'll instantly feel at home with our soft furnishings and super soft memory foam rugs, we'll get you a drink and settle you into the session. We strongly believe that whether you are joining us for therapy or some self-care and relaxation, there should be no clinical feel but we want you to feel at ease and at home with us straight away!

Once your session starts the practitioner will explain what is going to happen and ask if you have any questions, we don't bite so please ask us whatever you need to and then enjoy your time with us.

Meet our founder

Hi, I'm Jade Anne the founder of The Growth Place.

After experiencing the ups and downs of life, I know the struggles are real. From being bullied when I went to school which caused me self-esteem and confidence issues to navigating life as an undiagnosed AuADHD neurodiverse adult for decades.

I never felt like I found my place where I fitted in, my nervous system became disregulated and I burnt out so bad I couldn't speak or move! I've navigated loss and the grief that brings with it as well as divorce and being a single parent.

I know it can feel like sometimes everything is against you, but I found a way through and so can you!

I learnt how my mind works and started to regain some control of my thoughts and feelings. I opened my eyes to the signs and signals that were appearing around me but I'd never been consciously aware enough to know they were there before! I started implementing self-care practices and learning more about wellbeing and I started to feel more grateful for the little things, regaining balance, control, and peace.

If you're struggling with feelings of anxiety or overwhelm, battling persistent low moods, or yearning to feel in control again, you're not alone. Many people, have felt this way and have found their path forward here at The Growth Place. Our holistic therapy programs aren't just about managing your emotions and mindset; they're about empowering you to rediscover your self-worth, reconnect with your confidence and find your purpose.

Navigating life's hurdles, especially from a neurodiverse perspective, can seem overwhelming and unmanageable, that's why our unique intuitive and holistic approach to educate and empower, provides you with a toolkit and strategies moving forward. Our dedicated therapy programmes help you to overcome the big issues with support, so you're not alone and you can find a new lease of life, a sense of purpose and a deeper happiness that radiates inside and out!

So if you are reading this still, the chances are it resonates with you and you're probably feeling as though you are ready to make a change and start living your best life. So please get in touch and let's start working together. I look forward to meeting you soon.
